Tuck Beckstoffer, son of legendary Napa Valley grape grower Andy, grew up in wine country and spent his childhood immersed in farming. Is it any wonder that he caught the wine bug and set out to forge his own path in the industry?
The Seventy Five Wine Company (also known as Est. 75) is a California-based winery founded by Tuck. Named in honor of the year 1975 when his father moved the family to Napa Valley, the company focuses on producing fruit-forward, approachable wines with outstanding price-to-quality ratios.
The 2021 Est. 75 Wine Company Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced entirely from the Feliz Creek Vineyard in Mendocino. The region's abindant sunshine, cool coastal marine fog, wide diurnal temperature variations, and well-drained, alluvial soils bring forth wines that deftly balance ripe fruit characters, terroir-driven nuances, and bright acidity.
Aged in French oak, the 2021 Est. 75 Wine Company Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of black cherries, strawberry jam, dark cocoa, and hints of cedar and vanilla. The palate is full-bodied and ripe, with flavors of blackberries, blackcurrants, plums, and figs laced with subtle notes of toffee, mint, and cinnamon. Balancing acidity and lingering black fruit notes bring the wine to a long finish.
