Domaine François Carillon was founded in 2010 when François split the family holdings with his brother Jacques following their father Louis Carillon's retirement — continuing a family winemaking tradition in Puligny-Montrachet that stretches back to the 16th century. François described 2022 as a "calm, easy vintage" — warm, generous, and aromatic, with harvesting beginning in mid-August and carried out exclusively in the morning hours to preserve freshness. 

Tasting notes:
The 2022 Francois Carillon Bourgogne Blanc has dominant aromas of white peaches and pears, with subtle accents of white flowers, almonds, and flinty minerality. The medium-bodied palate offers lively flavors of apples, pears, citrus, and stone fruits supported by refreshing acidity and a subtle creamy texture from lees and barrel aging. The clean finish features lingering citrus and peach flavors with hints of saline-laced wet stone.
