La Bastide is a cooperative winery founded in 1949 with the aim of preserving the winemaking traditions of the region and the livelihoods of its growers. With its founding farmers, it produced its first vintage in 1951. Over the years the cooperative has grown, and today has over 100 members with an annual production of over 60,000 hectoliters.
The cooperative produces wines made from native as well as international varietals, honoring tradition while embracing modern practices in order to ensure it continuously produces wines of the highest quality.
The 2025 La Bastide "Le Perlé L'Original" Blanc, a blend of 46% Loin de l'Oeil, 42% Mauzac, and 12% Sauvignon Blanc, has aromas of honey, orchard fruits, baking spices, and hazelnuts. The effervescent palate has flavors of apples, pears, citrus zest, and peaches, with subtle notes of honeysuckle and wet stone. Vibrant acidity
brings everything into perfect balance and makes you want
to take another sip.
