PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
Leonardo Bussoletti is an Umbria native who took over a family vineyard and set about making incredible wines from the little-known grapes that are native to the region. The 2021 Leonardo Bussolettu 05035 Narni Blanco is one of the fruits of his efforts, and one that will have you singing the praises of Italian white wines!

Leonardo spent the first half of his career in wine sales and marketing. In 2009 he changed his fate, taking control of a small vineyard owned by his family and planting 9 hectares of trebbiano spoletino as well as the hidden gems ciliegiolo and grechetto. An avid wine lover, Leonardo jumped into his new career without prior experience, but his excellent palate and raw talent have served him very well. By 2016 his annual production reached 20,000 bottles, and to this day he is a vocal champion for the preservation of native grape varietals.

Today's wine is crafted from 100% trebbiano spoletino and is an incredibly delicious expression of the varietal. Aromas of lemon peel and pears follow on the palate, which is fleshy and round yet infused with vibrant acidity. The fruit characters are layered with subtle hints of wet stone and baking spice.
