Manoir de la Firetière is a 5th generation, family-owned winery currently run by Servane and Guillaume Charpentier. They oversee 79 hectares of vineyards near the Atlantic Ocean, about 12 miles southeast of Nantes in the commune of Loroux-Bottereau. Here, the moderating influences of the ocean and the well-drained, sandy-loam soils bring forth wines that beautifully balance fruit characters and acidity. 

The 2023 Manoir de la Firetière Sauvignon Blanc Cuvée Excellence has aromas and flavors of lemon and lime zest as well as Honeydew melon. The palate is full and round; the fruit characters are flanked by accents of wet stone and savory herbs. Bright acidity brings the wine to a long finish.
