Coonawarra, located in the southeastern part of the country, is prime wine real estate just like its California counterpart, and just like Napa Valley, is widely considered to be one of the best appellations in the country for red wine production, especially wines crafted from cabernet sauvignon.  

Coonawarra's Terra Rossa soil, characterized by reddish-brown topsoil and an underlying layer of soft limestone, as well as the region's Mediterranean climate and breezes from the Southern Ocean, make magic with cabernet sauvignon, and wine lovers all over the southern hemisphere flock to the region to tour its vineyards and savor its wines. Crafted from 100% cabernet sauvignon from the Old Testament Vineyard located in the heart of Coonawarra, the 2021 Sister's Run Old Testament Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of cassis entwined with notes of vanilla and subtle oak. The palate is full-bodied and redolent with flavors of cassis and blackberry jam laced with hints of baking spices, vanilla, and cocoa. Silky tannins, bright acidity, and a long finish beg you to take another sip.
