Tom Stolpman founded the winery that bears his name over 20 years ago on land in Santa Barbara County that he believed was destined for wine greatness. He was right; limestone-rich soils, ocean breezes, wide diurnal temperature variations, and abundant sunshine have blessed the land with the goods to make exquisite wines.
The Para Maria Rosé is the result of a partnership between Stolpman and local grower Maria “Lupe” Solorzano, whose intimate knowledge of the land and innate ability to adapt to changes in terroir bring forth beautiful wines that speak of their origins. A blend of grenache and syrah, it abounds with aromas and flavors of fresh, ripe strawberries with hints of watermelon, wet stone, and herbs. The palate is full-bodied yet fresh and light on its feet, thanks to bright and balancing acidity.
