PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
Eshcol is made by Trefethen Family Vineyards, a third-generation family-owned winery that crafts juice sourced exclusively from estate-owned vineyards in the Oak Knoll District. Dedicated to the purest expression of fruit and terroir, the Trefethen family farms sustainably in order to preserve the land and produce wines that offer a distinct sense of place.

Eshcol Red is an authentic and approachable introduction to the Trefethen portfolio. Sourced entirely from the family's Main Ranch vineyard, it is a unique blend each year, featuring the strengths of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot complemented by the addition of smaller amounts of other French varietals. 

The 2021 Eshcol Red is ripe, juicy, and easy to love, with aromas and flavors of black raspberries and Bing cherries. The palate is silky smooth with pliant tannins and supporting notes of licorice and baking spices. A hint of black pepper is a lovely surprise on the long finish.
