Twelve years after arriving in America, in 1924, Gaspare Indelicato planted a vineyard in Manteca, Central Valley, California. With it, he planted the foundation of his eventual success in the California wine trade. Since that first vineyard flourished, Gaspare’s children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren have honored his legacy through dedication to his steadfast values of family, hard work, and integrity. They have since established their home base on the Silverado Trail in the Napa Valley, and have expanded their holdings to include vineyards in Napa Valley's most prestigious AVAs. To this day, every one of their cuvées has been a pure expression of Napa Valley terroir.*

Today's wine was sourced from vineyards in Oak Knoll, Rutherford, Calistoga, and Oakville. Aged in oak for 17 months, it is drinking beautifully right out of the gate, with stunning aromas of black cherry, dried cranberry, and toasty notes of cedar. The palate is concentrated with bold flavors of cherry, raspberry, and hints of spice. Intense, concentrated, silky fruit and integrated tannins with beautifully balanced acidity extend to an elegant finish.*
