Mesta wines are made by Fontana Bodegas & Viñedos in Uclés, Spain, owned and operated by the Cantarero Morales family for over 30 years. They are a leading producer of wines in the appellation, with over 600 hectares of vineyards, and have played an integral part in getting Uclés recognized as a DO and raising the quality of its wines. 

 Medium-bodied, the Mesta Garnacha beguiles the senses with aromas and flavors of brambly black raspberries, with accents of herbs and the merest hint of pepper. Moderate acidity brings balance without detracting from the wine's smooth texture.
