Braida is a third-generation winery in the town of Rocchetta Tanaro in the heart of the Asti district of Piedmont. Established by Giacomo Bologna in 1961, the winery has become widely regarded as one of the crown jewel properties of Asti, a reputation built upon the full range of Braida wines, from Barbera d'Asti and Brachetto d'Aqui to Moscato d'Asti.
The winery and its vineyards have been passed down to the remarkably talented brother/sister duo of Giuseppe & Rafaella Bologna, who have continued Giacomo's work in crafting wines from traditional local varieties while utilizing the finest contemporary winemaking tools and techniques to bring out the very best in each wine.
Grapes for the Braida Moscato d'Asti are sourced from a single vineyard in the town of Mango purchased by the family in 1990. This moscato is simply stunning, with expressive aromatics and a palate that abounds with ripe fruit characters.

90 points, Decanter Magazine:
"From an estate vineyard in the village of Mango, this has lovely apricot, pear, and flower scents. The prickly attack has a good intensity of peachy and appley fruit with some tropical notes and plenty of floral character. Fresh and slightly mineral, with a soft, creamy mouthfeel."
