For three generations, the Finlayson name has been synonymous with fine wine production in Stellenbosch. The family believes that there is no tradition without consistency. To that end, they are devoted to making focused wines that are pure expressions of their varietals as well as their origins. They take a non-interventionist approach to their craft, which ensures that their cuvées reflect a distinct sense of place. Almost since their beginnings, David Finlayson wines have served as benchmarks against which other wines in the region have been measured.

Made from cabernet sauvignon with a touch of petit verdot and cabernet franc
and aged for 18 months in a 50/50 combination of new and seasoned French oak barrels, the 2020 David Finlayson Cabernet Sauvignon is a feast for the senses.
