The 2019 Cooper’s Reed Cabernet Sauvignon is a monovarietal made from organic grapes grown from Napa Valley floor vineyards and aged in large oak casks. Medium-to-full-bodied, it unfolds beautifully on the palate with flavors of blackberries, cassis, and black cherries, with hints of baking spices, vanilla, and licorice. A smooth texture, pliant tannins, and juicy acidity make this wine enormously enjoyable from that first sip. Check out the press!
90 points, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2019 Cooper's Reed Cabernet Sauvignon includes fruit from young vines and high-vigor sites in St. Helena, Rutherford, and Calistoga. It's 100% cabernet sauvignon and 100% Napa Valley, not always the case for wines in this price range. It's minty, herbal, and dusty, with cherries and tobacco joining in. Medium to full-bodied, it's bright, fresh, and taut, with a crisp, slightly greenish edge to the long, racy finish." (5/31/22)Â
